The University of Birmingham is one of the largest partners of the 2022 Commonwealth Games, with many events taking place right here on campus! As anticipation builds, we know that many of you will be excited to get involved.

As part of the countdown to the games, a ‘market hall’ style event will be held for you to come along and find out about all the things happening in and around campus over the next year including:

  • Volunteering and paid opportunities
  • Incredible events taking place across the city
  • Changes in and around campus
  • Taking part in the Queen’s Baton Relay
  • Our ‘Game Changing’ research.

Weather permitting, there will also be the opportunity to take part in our exciting Commonwealth Games-themed activities and win a pair of tickets to the Games.

The Games are a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ event, and we’re super excited to share that you will also get the chance to find out more about how you can get your hands on tickets to the Commonwealth Games as part of an exclusive ballot for staff and students! Watch this space for more details.

Don’t miss out on your chance to get set for Birmingham 2022! Places are limited so register your interest now.
