Have your say - semester 1 student survey on learning and teaching now open

Take a few minutes to share your views and drive change through our Student Evaluation of Learning and Teaching (SELT) Survey.

Your programme leads would really love to hear your views on your programme, so they know what’s going well, and what could be improved in the next semester.

Open to all undergraduate and postgraduate taught students, in all years of study, this survey is your opportunity to tell us what you think so far about your overall experience of teaching and learning, across your whole programme. It’s quick and easy to complete, and by sharing your views now you could benefit from improvements to your programme in Semester 2.

The closing date is Sunday 28 November.

Your voice matters

Your feedback is vital in contributing to wider improvements at UoB, as part of our commitment towards a new campaign which shines a spotlight on how your views can shape your student experience; ‘Making it Happen: your University experience, shaped by you’.

In last year’s SELT students raised timetable changes, clarification of the marking criteria for assessments, and workload as areas for improvement in student experience.  In response the University has brought in processes to ensure a reduction to changes to your timetable in semester, and Colleges have enhanced their assessment support provision and activities, in order to help you prepare for your assessments. Programmes have taken steps to reduce workload requirements, and we will continue to monitor student feedback in this area.

It’s your views that have shaped these changes and will help us continue to shape your experience here at UoB. Together we’re ‘Making it Happen!’
