Paid job opportunities available now to support the national vaccination programme
A range of job opportunities are now available to students, working locally in the main vaccination centres, primary care networks, community pharmacists and 12-15 vaccination programme in schools.
Shifts operate from Monday – Friday and the pay rate is £9.99 per hour. All students would be onboarded on to the Covid Vaccination Staff Bank, with local induction and training available. There is always a balanced skills mix of experienced and less experienced staff on each shift to make sure everyone is supported.
Type of activities that you might be asked to undertake would be:
- Provide a friendly meet and greet when customers arrive
- Confirm bookings in the National Booking System
- Observe customers in specific areas post vaccination
- Complete customer information
- Provide support and advice for customers.
This is a great opportunity to earn some income whilst supporting the national vaccination programme and the established partnership between UoB and University Hospitals Birmingham NHS.
