UoB Gospel Choir are finalists at the University Gospel Choir of the Year!

The University of Birmingham Gospel Choir are competing in the finals of the University Gospel Choir of the Year competition! The event, taking place on 25 March in London along with other university choirs across England, returns for the first time since 2019 where the University won the title. The pressure is on... 

UoB Gospel Choir singer Hannah said - 

"It was definitely a nervous and challenging thing to prepare for, but both the committee and members without doubt had fun. Rehearsals can sometimes be quite intense but we are definitely having fun along the way. Our members are amazing at keeping their energy up, even if we’ve repeated the same song many MANY times. But, no matter the outcome, the most we want to make out of this experience is come together with other people in a space where we can worship as a community".
