Holocaust Memorial Day 2024

UoB's Jewish Society are proud to announce that for this year’s Holocaust Memorial, Holocaust Survivor Janine Webber BEM is coming to campus. Join us on Tuesday 23 January from 19:00-21:00 in the Teaching and Learning Building to hear a firsthand account of life in Poland during World War II.

Holocaust Memorial Day is observed on 27 January every year. It is a day dedicated to remembering the victims of the Holocaust and other genocides, and is a time for reflection, education, and raising awareness about prejudice.
