Free and discounted bus travel for UoB students

Here at the University, we’re always looking for ways we can support our students when it comes to managing the cost of living.

Based on student feedback, we’ve teamed up with National Express West Midlands to bring you two exclusive offers to help make travelling onto campus by bus more affordable.

For new UoB undergraduates

If you’re a new student (undergraduate) joining us this September, don’t miss out on claiming your free four-week bus pass, giving you unlimited travel across the West Midlands and saving you £49!

There are a limited number of passes up for grabs. To get your hands on one, make sure you complete your online registration first before you can apply for your free month’s bus pass at the Welcome Fair on campus (21-23 September) during Arrivals Weekend and Welcome Week.

For all UoB students

You can now purchase a bus pass for travel in the West Midlands for a discounted rate at £39 a month – giving you a £10 saving compared to buying it directly from the National Express website.

As this is an exclusive offer just for UoB students, this discounted pass can only be ordered through the new UoB portal (so save this link). The 20% exclusive discount will be offered throughout the year.
