Black Minds Matter UK

Black Minds Matter UK is a registered charity connecting Black individuals and families with free therapy by qualified and accredited Black therapists. With the goal of demanding better resources and treatment for Black people, the charity aim to empower Black individuals with support and safe spaces, every step of the way.

Black Minds Matter UK are hosting a youth-focused mental health event in Birmingham and you're invited! Everyone can attend, regardless of background. 

Details of the event:

If you're aged between 17-24, join for FREE on Saturday 30 September (between 12:00-17:00 in Eastside Rooms, Woodcock Street B7 4BL) for the With You(th) In Mind event which focuses on encouraging early intervention in seeking mental health support and amplifying the role intersectionality plays in personal mental health challenges and experiences.

What you can expect on the day:

  • Mental health 1:1’s with a therapist
  • Live guided mental check-in led by How Mental
  • Panel talk discussions
  • Breakout sessions
  • Round table talks led by Black Minds Matter UK and Suicide and Co
  • Free lunch!
  • BMMUK goodie bags including Rare Beauty surprises and more!
