Free Art Workshop: Explore the Mingana Collection
From 18 July to 17 August, it’s South Asian Heritage Month, a time to commemorate and honour South Asian cultures and contributions.
To mark this occasion, the Museum of Islamic Arts & Heritage (MIAH) Foundation are holding a free art workshop on Thursday 3 August, from 13:30 – 15:30 at the Cadbury Research Library. During this workshop, you'll have the opportunity to delve into the history and heritage of the Mingana Collection of Middle Eastern Manuscripts.
Not only will you have the chance to discover more about the designs and styles from Mughal India, but you can decorate and take home your own, unique photograph frame in the style of these 17th century art albums.
Tickets are free, but hurry, as spaces are limited!
Book Your Place
The workshop is preceded by a free talk on the Mughal-era manuscripts in the Mingana Collection at 12:00 by Dr. Neelam Hussain. Please note that you’ll need to book separately for this talk. Find out more.
