University Remembrance Service

Remembrance Day is a memorial in which the UK, and other Commonwealth member states, pause for a moment to join in commemorations to remember those who gave their life for their country.

Remembrance Day is on Saturday 11 November this year and marks the day World War One ended, at 11:00 on the 11th day of the 11th month, in 1918.

The Multi-Faith Chaplaincy will be leading an act of remembrance this Friday 10 November at 10:45 in advance of Remembrance Day. All members of the University community are invited to attend at the foot of Old Joe.
