The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games team are looking to recruit Volunteer Selection Event Team Members to support their Volunteer Selection Event Centre between September and December 2021. These volunteers will conduct interviews and help to support the running of the Selections Event Centres. This is an excellent opportunity for those who wish to gain experience in busy and changing environment, conducting interviews, and developing teamwork skills.

Most of all, candidates must show they are passionate about the success of the Games.

As a partner of Birmingham 2022, the University of Birmingham has 30 of these positions held exclusively for our nominated students.

To apply for one of these positions, please go to our Canvas page for more information about the role and to apply. Due to the tight deadlines and training needs, applications close at midnight on Monday 31 May.

This is just one of the many different volunteering opportunities that have been created to support the Commonwealth Games. You can apply as a general Games Time Volunteer, via the Commonwealth Games website from 1 June.  We also have more information about volunteering for students and staff on our intranet page.
