Get your Covid-19 vaccine on campus on 20 June 2022

We encourage everyone to be fully vaccinated against Covid, including the booster jab. In partnership with University Hospitals Birmingham (NHS) the mobile vaccination team will be popping back up on campus again so that anyone who is eligible can grab a jab!

The vaccination unit will be located in the Green Heart of Campus right beside the Study Space Marquee on Monday 20 June 2022, 9am to 4pm.

Which vaccine can I get?

You will be able to pop along and grab a jab, no appointment necessary, for a first, second or booster jab of the Pfizer vaccine only.

Remember, if you have already had your first dose you need to wait 8 weeks before you are eligible for your second dose. If you have already had your second dose you need to wait at least three months before you can get a booster dose. And, if you have recently tested positive for Covid you have to wait for 28 days before you can have any further doses.

What do I need to bring?

Just yourself – and your NHS number if you know it, to speed things along. You don’t need to be registered with a GP or have your ID with you.

The vaccination doses are FREE and the site is open to all students.

What if I need to get vaccinated but can’t make it this time?

Not to worry – you can always  get a vaccination at a local walk-in site.
