Campus distribution of LFD self-testing kits

You may have noticed discussion in the media regarding the possible removal of the remaining Covid-19 regulations, including changes to the government’s approach to testing and isolation.

It is currently unclear what this means for the provision of home testing kits and the testing kit collection points located around the Edgbaston campus and student accommodation. However, subject to any further updates from government, we have been notified that this may mean we need to suspend our on campus distribution of LFD self-testing kits from Monday 21 February. 

We currently have plenty of stock and wherever possible will continue to distribute remaining stock to students and staff. In the meantime, to ensure that you do have an adequate supply for the next week you can collect kits from the usual locations across campus.

Please continue to report a positive Covid test result to the University via the online Covid reporting system.
