David Evans-Powell

Alumni Engagement Partner

The Alumni Engagement business partner provides the link between the College and the Development and Alumni Relations Office (DARO).  They lead on how the College engages with its alumni, graduate, and supporter communities through events, e-newsletters, and other activities.  This involves connecting the alumni with opportunities in College to volunteer their time to make a difference to student recruitment, experience, and employability.  Alumni can do this by giving their time as mentors, by offering work experience, by speaking on careers panels, by sharing their insights at open days, as well as many other opportunities.  Additionally, alumni can give their time to benefit the research work, profile and visibility of the College.  The Alumni Engagement Manager also provides support to DARO through guiding opportunities for alumni and supporters to make philanthropic gifts to the College.  If you are interested in volunteering your time, or exploring a philanthropic gift, towards the College of Arts and Law, please contact David below.
