Project Brief
To create a Skills Bootcamp with a focus on sustainability; Net Zero Together. This is a ten-week course aimed at professionals who want to gain the knowledge and skills to help their business be more sustainable and ultimately achieve net zero carbon emissions. The course is aimed at people in work so the course had to be flexible, engaging to people from different backgrounds and accessible from a range of academic levels.
Solution
A carefully structured course with content that suited a range of learners. The early units of the course included structured and scaffolded tasks that participants could tailor to their own business or organisation. We created a series of audio interviews with local business leaders from a range of industries for students to listen when and wherever suited them. In the final weeks, students were required to work in groups to present a final project – collaborative work on the project was facilitated successfully in Canvas.
