I have completed Online Registration, when will I get my student ID card?
New students starting in the 2024/25 Academic Year
UK students: if your home address is in the UK and you complete Online Registration (including supplying a suitable ID card photo) no later than 3 September 2024, your ID card will be automatically posted to your home address.
All other new students (including UK students registering after 3 September 2024): you will be able to collect your ID card from our Welcome Registration Marquee adjacent to the Law Building on Chancellors Court in the centre of campus. This will open on Arrivals Weekend and run until 11 October 2024. After 11 October, we will be available in the Aston Webb Student Hub.
Current students
If you are on campus, you can request new and replacement ID cards from the Aston Webb Student Hub during our opening hours. If you require your ID card urgently or need seamless access to buildings, this is the recommended method.
Alternatively, you can request your ID card to be posted to you by completing our online request form. You can use this form to request your first ID card for your new course, and can also use it to request a replacement card if necessary (for example if you have lost your card or your course details have changed).
Please note that you must complete your Online Registration for the current Academic Year and supply us with a suitable ID card photo before we can produce your ID card.
