Ash & Even UK Ltd is a digital platform which helps international university students find, select, and hire high-quality service providers in the UK. Service offerings include university application, legal advice, social events, etc. The business was created in 2018 by UoB graduate Min Feng who used her own university experiences to create a tailored service for students in Asia who wish to study in the UK.
Min's story:
Currently, the business is made up of three people (including myself) and we have generated a revenue of £60,000 in eight months as of June 2021. By working in The Exchange we hope to make the most of networking opportunities and build rapport with like-minded entrepreneurs and partners. As UoB Elevate is a project initiated by the University of Birmingham, which enables us to further validate our market and collect customer feedbacks, joining the incubator can definitely accelerate the growth of my startup.
In the future, we also hope that no international students would be misled into buying inferior products/services, via using our digital platform. (Or no more misleading, no more deceptive spending for international students).

Outside of business hours, I stay active through workouts at the gym since 2012. Also, I love travelling (been to over 30 counties and cities so far) and exploring cultural differences. I am a fan of Charlie Munger, the vice-chairman of Berkshire Hathaway with one of the greatest business mindsets and attitudes towards life. He is a true inspiration to me and therefore I would very much love to be a lifetime learner like him.
