Mallika Vellat at Enactus UK
Mallika Vellat, M.Sc. student in Microbiology and Infection: "I am one of the leads for Project Re-Stitch - an initiative that supports refugee women by teaching creative skills like crochet and embroidery. We were recently selected as one of the top 20 teams in the regional qualifiers, and we’ll be presenting our ideas - Project Re-Stitch and Potastic - at the Enactus UK & Ireland Expo. It’s an amazing platform for us to showcase our work and continue growing these projects.
