Supplementary Period assessments
There are a few different types of assessments you could be completing during the supplementary period, we’ve put together a quick explainer on what’s happening when:
- Coursework: All coursework assignments were released on Canvas on Thursday 9 July. You will need to submit your work by Thursday 6 August 1pm. No extensions can be granted on any coursework assignments, including for students with RAPs, due to the tight deadlines of the exam boards.
- Exams: Supplementary exams will take place between Monday 17and Friday 28 August. You can find your exam timetable on the MyUoB App from Wednesday 29 July.
- Class tests: Class tests will be scheduled around the Supplementary exam timetable and therefore you will receive the time and date for the test during the week beginning 4 August. You will be contacted individually via email with these details.
If you have any questions about your assessments, don’t hesitate to contact your School or Wellbeing Team for support.
Extenuating Circumstances
We understand that things don’t always go to plan. If you experience unforeseen or uncontrollable circumstances that affect your ability to complete assessments during the Supplementary Period, you may be eligible to submit an Extenuating Circumstances (EC) request.
