Exam guidance

If you are preparing for exams next week, we’re supporting you to be #UoBeReady. Stay calm, focused, and well-prepared by reviewing guidance and planning ahead. Take a look at our top tips to help you prepare.

Managing exam stress

We’ve got your back if you’re preparing assessments. Check out our top tips on managing exam stress.

You can also use our self-help guides, written by clinical psychologists, for practical advice to help you manage anxiety, stress, and sleeping problems. Guides are short, practical, and available in audio format, whenever you need them.

24/7 Mental health support line

If you need someone to talk to, UBHeard is available 24/7, wherever you are. Call 0800 917 9379 or download the free Wisdom App.

Extenuating Circumstances during Supplementary Assessments

We hope that your assessments have been going well so far, but if there are circumstances outside of your control which have been unforeseen and unavoidable and that have significantly impacted your study and/or preparation and therefore potentially your performance in the exams, please make sure you are aware of the Extenuating Circumstances (EC) process.

The deadlines to apply for Extenuating Circumstances for your cohort can be found in your School handbook:
