Chaplains

The Multifaith Chaplaincy team includes chaplains from a wide range of faith traditions. A chaplain offers pastoral, spiritual and emotional support and is available to listen, offer guidance, prayer, or simply be someone to talk to. Everyone is welcome, irrespective of faith, belief, or background.

Chaplains support students and staff with a wide range of matters, including faith or spirituality, personal wellbeing, identity and belonging, and life events such as change, stress, or loss. They do not provide counselling or specialist welfare services but can offer confidential, non-judgemental support and, where appropriate, help signpost to other University services.

To help us give you our best attention, we encourage you to make an appointment where possible. Contact details are provided below. If you are unsure who to contact, please email: chaplaincy@contacts.bham.ac.uk
