Getting around campus: updates to the Campus Map

With the start of the academic year just around the corner, we know that the Campus Map will be essential in helping you navigate your way around campus. Whether you're new to UoB, or returning for another year with us, there are some changes to the Campus Map to look out for.  

What's new?

• New for 2026, TalkingSpace@UoB, a free and confidential wellbeing service will be operating in the Wellbeing Lodge, near North Gate. 
• Staff House will now be called the Green Heart Forum. And yes, it’s open to students as well! The Green Heart Forum will also feature a new student lounge, the View, coming soon. 
• Y3 finally has a name! Named after the first female engineering graduate at UoB, Y3 will now be called the Winifred Hackett Building.  
• Just behind the Teaching and Learning building, is the exciting, new 590 seater Munrow Lecture Theatre.
