Important Industrial Action update

The strike action scheduled for the week commencing Monday 20 February, and next week, commencing Monday 27 February, will now not go ahead. All lectures and normal teaching and learning activity will go ahead as scheduled across these two weeks. More info

PGT Highlights

If you’re a PGT distance learner, our March PGT Café is just for you! The PGT Café helps PGTs find like-minded people in their postgrad community, and our online Distance Learner special is taking place on Tuesday 14 March, 11:00-13:00. Book your place

PGR Highlights

Our PGR mental health workshops are led by Bloomwise, a mental health consultancy set up by two UoB PGRs. Join their online session on Starting & Managing a Conversation about Your Mental Health on Friday 3 March, 14:00-15:30. And look out for our other Bloomwise workshops in the series, happening throughout Semester Two.

Tackle procrastination and stay focussed with our friendly, supportive PGR Shut Up and Work sessions every Thursday afternoon over MS Teams. Set targets and work towards your research goals with regular breaks and encouragement from your fellow PGRs. Join the channel.

Yoga with Community Wardens

Your Community Wardens are running free yoga sessions for three weeks throughout February and March in Selly Oak. These sessions are for anyone, whether you’ve done yoga before or just feel like giving it a go, our instructors will help teach you all there is to know about yoga. More info.

Change to Multi-Factor Authentication

From Monday 27 February, anyone using the Microsoft Authenticator app to confirm their identity when logging into a UoB service will have to use a new number matching feature and type a 2-digit number displayed on their login screen into the app. Learn more.
