Happy Easter from UoB!

From everyone at the University, we wish you a very egg-cellent Easter and Spring vacation! Don't forget the University is closed from Friday 29 March - Wednesday 3 April 2024. 

If you’re staying on campus over the vacation, some services will remain open, and others will run on a limited service. Full details are on our Easter pages.  

What is Easter and how is it celebrated? 

Easter commemorates the Christian belief that Jesus died a sacrificial death and was resurrected. Although, nowadays, people from non-Christian backgrounds also celebrate the holiday as it is marked by a national bank holiday.
