Transgender Day of Remembrance Service

Transgender Day of Remembrance is an annual observance that takes place on the 20 November to honour the memory of the those who have lost their lives in acts of anti-transgender violence.

The Multi-Faith University Chaplaincy and the Rainbow Network, in collaboration with the Student EDI Team and the Guild's Trans and Non-Binary Students Officer, warmly invite you to join the remembrance service taking place on Monday 20 November between 12:30-13:30 in the St Francis Hall, Multi Faith Chaplaincy. This is marked as building O2 on the campus map.

The event will feature a series of powerful speeches discussing discrimination and violence against the Trans community, as well as highlighting the names of the lives lost. There will also be a religious service along with an overall moment of pause and reflection.
