Iftar is the meal served at sunset during Ramadan to break the day's fast, and this Ramadan, the Multi-Faith Chaplaincy and the Islamic Society warmly invite you to come along and celebrate this special occassion on campus with them.

The previous University Community Iftar in 2019 saw over 500 people come together to break their fast under the night sky.

From 6pm, join them in the Great Hall for a grand exhibition on Islam and the history surrounding it, followed by speeches from esteemed guests including the Mayor of the West Midlands, Andy Street.

At sunset, enjoy some delicious free dinner as the Muslim community at the University break their fast outside on Chancellor's Court. Everyone is welcome, just register your interest before Friday 29 April
