UoB's annual Carol Service returns for 2022
Join us for an evening of Christmas carols and performances on Monday 12 December.
The ‘countdown to Christmas’ is well underway on campus with a packed programme of events and activities to help you experience some festive joy this season.
Nothing says Christmas like a carol concert and on the evening of Monday 12 December our popular annual carol concert returns in the University’s prestigious Great Hall.
Staff, students, alumni, family, and friends are welcome to this traditional service of carols, readings, and a spectacular selection of festive music from the University of Birmingham Music Department.
Doors open to the Great Hall at 5.30pm so get yourself down early and grab your seats for what will be a magical night to remember.

Time: Doors open from 5.30pm with the concert starting at 6.15pm (the service will last approximately one hour)
