I have completed Online Registration, when will I get my student ID card?
New students
Once you have completed Online Registration, you can request your student ID card from the Aston Webb Student Hub (R7 on the campus map). Please ensure you bring with you alternative ID to verify your identity before we issue your card.
If you are a distance learning student and are unable to visit campus, you can request your ID card to be posted to you using our request form.
Please note: If you are a non-UK national, regardless of your fee status, you will be required to complete a Right to Study check with the International Students Team before we can issue you a student ID card.
Current students
All students will receive their first ID card by post or in person during Welcome upon arrival to the University. If you did not receive your first ID card or have misplaced it, you can request a replacement from the Aston Webb Student Hub during our opening hours. Alternatively, you can request for your card to be posted by completing our online request form. You can use this form to request your first ID card for your new course, and can also use it to request a replacement card if necessary (for example your course details have changed).
Lost ID cards incur a £10 charge (payable by bank card or contactless pay). If you are unable to visit us, you can order a replacement for your student ID card via the Online Shop.
If you require your ID card urgently or need seamless access to buildings, we recommend you visit us in person.
