Tailored for your area of study, our Summer Term programme is designed to help you learn and develop your academic skills and knowledge. Whether you are heading on to your next year of study or moving onto life as a UoB graduate, there are specific timetabled sessions planned for you. You can check your sessions through MyUoB.

UoB Xtra
Running alongside the Summer Term is UoB Xtra, our series of FREE social, sports and celebration events designed to help you relax and make memories to last a lifetime. From our Campus 3K to our open air cinema, there’ll be plenty happening on and off campus for you to get ‘Xtra’ from your time here with us during Monday 9 - Friday 27 June 2025! Bookings for events and activities will open in March, so keep an eye on your student communication channels.

But that's not all. This year, we'll also be celebrating 125 years of the University of Birmingham! Look out for special events and activities to mark this milestone throughout the year including a free concert on the Green Heart on Saturday 21 June. Tickets are being snapped up fast, so book yours now to avoid dissapointment.
