Vice-Chancellor's Challenge 2022

This year, the Vice-Chancellor's Challenge is ‘Seeking Solutions to Global Challenges’. It tackles some of the greatest challenges faced by our planet and its people, from climate change and destruction of the natural world to rising inequality and declining wellbeing. These problems, exacerbated by the global pandemic, concern every nation on Earth and affect every person.

That’s why the Vice-Chancellor's Challenge connects you with students from across the University and asks you to work together to develop smart, innovative solutions that can tackle these challenges now.

Register now and bring your ideas, your energy, and your skills to the launch of the Vice-Chancellor's Challenge on Wednesday 26 January, 13:00 – 17:00. Connect with students in other disciplines, and engage in workshops to help you choose a challenge to tackle.

Find out more about the challenge.

The Vice-Chancellor's Challenge is open to all undergraduate students from second year onwards and to postgraduate taught students. Please note, if you have previously participated in the challenge you are unable to do so again.
