Fitness to Practise information for staff

Student Conduct, Complaints and Appeals (SCCA) provides help and advice on Fitness to Practise procedures, documentation, and legislation.

The University recognises that academic success in these programmes of study does not necessarily mean a person meets the professional standards of conduct required by that award.

When registering for a programme of study subject to Fitness to Practise legislation, students have to sign a programme-specific Code of Professional Conduct and Fitness to Practise. All programmes subject to Fitness to Practise legislation must be clearly advertised as being so.

Information for students (including relevant guidance documents) are available on the publicly available Fitness to Practise webpage
