What is a statement?

A statement is an official document that confirms that you are, or were, a registered student with the University of Birmingham. You may require a statement when you need to provide evidence of your studies, such as when opening a student bank account or applying for a travel visa 

All statements from the University of Birmingham will contain certain information as standard, such as your name, your programme of study, and your registration dates. Depending on the purpose for which you require a statement, additional information may be included on request.
