PCI DSS Training

All staff who come into contact with cardholder data must complete the appropriate PCI DSS Awareness module as part of their induction and retake it annually. The training provides some background information about PCI DSS, and describes some scenarios where PCI DSS needs to be considered.

It is the responsibility of line managers to ensure that staff complete the training.

The PCI DSS team review the training course annually and make sure it is up-to-date.

The modules are available on the CANVAS eLearning platform and can also be provided as PDF documents to be printed for staff who do not have computer access at work.

Please contact the PCI DSS team for access to the training modules: pcidss@contacts.bham.ac.uk

There may be opportunities for external training, arranged by the PCI DSS Special Interest Group, which is a collection of HE/FE institutions and local councils that the University is part of. The training would be suitable for staff who have responsibility for processes involving cardholder data. If you would be interested in attending the training, please email pcidss@contacts.bham.ac.uk.
