PDR for academic and related staff

The Performance and Development Review for academic and related staff is an opportunity for an individual to have a structured, constructive conversation about their performance and development needs, and for the University and individual to agree stretching but achievable objectives for the following review period.

Ensuring that time is set aside for this annual conversation is important for staff engagement and motivation, and will also aid alignment between individual, School/College and University objectives.

The PDR scheme replaces the former Staff Development Review Scheme with effect from 2013. From October 2013 all such reviews should be under the PDR scheme.
