Martin Hamilton works as Futurist for Jisc, the not-for-profit company operating the Janet network and eduroam wireless roaming for the 18 million people involved in UK research and education. His job involves looking out for new trends and technologies and building partnerships to bring them to teachers, learners and researchers. In this session Martin will look at the potential of cloud computing to revolutionise research, and how systems like BEAR Cloud will help to deliver this.
