Bramall Music Festival

To celebrate the opening of the Bramall Music Building, a launch festival is set to run from 25 November to 8 December 2012.

Performances range from lunchtime lectures to evening concerts and performances, including a free behind the scenes tour! Highlights of the launch festival include performances by Sampad, Ex Cathedra and the Birmingham Contemporary Music group, as well as concerts by the UMS Brass Band, UMS Big Band and world premieres by the UMS Philharmonic Orchestra. There will also be a fascinating talk by Glen Howells, the architect behind the design of the Bramall Music building, and an insightful illustrated lecture by the Vice Chancellor on Edward Elgar.
