Aston Webb C-Block residents are moving out

Staff will soon be moving out of Aston Webb C Block. Teams will be relocated whilst the building is refurbished in preparation for the new Student Hub due to open in Autumn 2014. Teams will be moving to the following locations on campus:

Main Library – Enquiry Services

Watson Building – Learning Spaces and Exams

Aston Webb, A Block – Director of Academic Services and PA

Aston Webb, Room 131 – Director of External Relations, PA, and representatives for student facing teams including Student Mobility and Exchanges, Admissions and Recruitment and representatives for the Media Relations team

3 Elms Road – Student Conduct

Ash House – Student Experience Projects Team, Graduate School, AS Operations, Student Data Management, Database Support and Development, BIRMS Programme, Student Records (PGR), College Academic Policy Partners, Policy and Standards, Curriculum Management, Collaborative Provision, AS Directors and AS Assistant Directors.

Beech House – External Relations teams including Admissions, Marketing and Communications, Recruitment and International Relations. Please note that Creative Media are unaffected and will remain in Aston Webb on the lower ground floor beneath the Great Hall, and in Kings Norton.

Cedar House – Student Funding Office , International Student Advisory Service, Equality and Diversity, Student Records (UG & PGT) and Planning

Ash, Beech and Cedar House (formerly known as the RoSPA buildings) are located on main campus off Edgbaston Park Road on the Bristol Road, less than 10 minutes walk to Chancellors’ Court at the centre of campus.

Planning and External Relations are due to move out in October whilst the majority of Academic Services staff will be moving out in November/December. More detailed information can be found on the dedicated Student Hub Project intranet page, www.intranet.birmingham.ac.uk/projects/studenthub.

Hot desking at Enquiry Services will allow student facing teams such as the International Student Advisory Service and Student Funding Office to continue meeting with students directly.
