DABE help celebrate degree congregations with #alumnichristmas

Colleagues from the Development, Alumni and Business Engagement (DABE) team will be out and about across campus during degree congregations asking students what they would ask for Christmas from their alumni experience such as:

Would you like an Alumni mentor? More and better networking events with Alumni experts within your field? Support with developing your student society, entrepreneurial endeavour or work experience?

The University of Birmingham has an abundance of successful graduates who every year donate their time and money to help our current students. They have held guest lectures, networked, provided contacts, and helped fund a range of campus activities from contributing to the new sports centre and library to sending students on work placements abroad or giving them a start-up contribution for their business. But the University and alumni want to get bigger and better, and are asking graduating students to tell them what more can be done to enhance their university experience.

The team will be around campus on Tuesday 10 December and will provide a complimentary drinks voucher for the Birmingham Frankfurt Christmas Market for all participants. Please do encourage your students to look out for people in Santa hats carrying white boards and cameras, and let them know what’s on their Alumni Christmas Wish List!
