IT Services: Many services affected by unexpected technical issue – 23 April 2018

Many services have been offline for up to 1.5 hours, with some still to be reinstated – we want to apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.

We have been experiencing an unexpected technical problem with the storage systems supporting our major services. This is an extremely rare occurrence affecting the resilience of the services.

Our technicians have been working flat out to resolve this issue. Once all services are fully restored, they will run an investigation into what caused it and how we can prevent it from happening again.

We’d like to offer our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this has caused.
