Potential traffic disruption

Those arriving to campus via East Gate on Edgbaston Park Road will have noticed the installation of two-way temporary traffic lights.

The traffic lights have been installed to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake essential work on the water mains under Edgbaston Park Road in order to increase the robustness of the water supply to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The work is a continuation of the works that were undertaken last November.

Unfortunately this may lead to some disruption to travel over the next three weeks.
