Students affected by the situation in Sudan

Due to the ongoing conflict in Sudan, some of you may find you need extra support. If you've been affected by this worrying situation, there are several ways you can find support. Whether that's talking to friends and family, or by accessing some of the University's services listed below.

University Support Services

We provide free and confidential support services you can contact if you've been affected by an incident abroad in any way:

  • Each School has their own Wellbeing Officer(s) who can provide you with practical and emotional support if you’re experiencing personal problems while at University.

  • UBHeard: Our confidential listening and support services for all registered students (Undergraduate and Postgraduate) gives you immediate emotional and mental health support, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
  • Multi-Faith Chaplaincy: You can speak confidentially to someone or find some quiet space to reflect. All students are welcome.
