Is it Time to Talk?
Feeling anxious about assessments or returning to university life? This time of year can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to deal with it alone.
If it's Time to Talk?, we're here for you. Our trained and friendly Wellbeing Officers, and 24/7 support line UBHeard offer a range of free and confidential services for all students.
Cost of Living
After the winter break of gift-giving and socialising – not to mention the January sales! – money can feel a little tight this month.
To help, we have a dedicated Cost of Living page with practical tips on saving and managing your money, plus details of support available from the University and the Guild of Students. From the free Community Breakfast every Wednesday at the Mermaid Bar to Student Support Fund grants, there are plenty of ways to access help and ease financial pressures.
Staying safe at UoB
Your safety matters to us. Our campus Safety teams are around to help keep you safe, whether that’s sharing safety tips or supporting your wellbeing. From free safety devices to the SafeZone app, there are lots of ways to help you feel safe and secure on campus. Check out the Staying Safe pages on the intranet to find out more.
You’ve got this! We’re so glad to have you back at UoB.
