The countdown to Christmas is getting very close now…

From getting a gift from (and a selfie with!) Santa to a free ride or two on the carousel in between lectures, we hope you’ve all been enjoying our events and activities to get you in the festive mood. The fun isn’t over yet – there’s still plenty of things going on during the next two weeks in halls, on campus and in the city.

Christmas opening hours

As of today (Friday 16 December 2022) the University will be closed for Christmas and will reopen on Tuesday 3 January 2023.

If you’re on campus, take a look at our Christmas opening times page which includes information on study spaces, the Main Library, food and drink, and what services are still available to support you over the festive break.

Time to Talk? UBHeard

Whether you’re staying on campus or travelling home, it’s important to look after your mental health and wellbeing over the holidays.
