What is the UDS? A Brief Reminder

Find more information on our UDS homepage.

Reminder: Leave of Absence process

A reminder that a new online Leave of Absence (LoA) application form was introduced over the summer. Replacing the previous paper-based process, the form allows you to submit your LoA request online and track your progress throughout the approval process. Further information can be found on the Leave of Absence information page.

Please note that a new Monthly Supervision Record (MSR) form will be live for all postgraduate researchers from Thursday 1 October. The MSR is a mandatory form you and your supervisor complete together before and throughout supervision meetings, helping you track your progress and set goals throughout your research. You can find more information on how to access the form and FAQs via the University website.

New: MyUoB App – PGR Dashboard

We are happy to announce that the MyUoB app has been rebuilt over the summer and now has a new PGR-friendly dashboard! The app links to your university emails and calendar, with quick links to PGR support across the University, including the PGR What’s On page, Library Services, AI for Researchers, and much more. Find MyUoB on your local App store or via the University website.
