Head of Operations (Education Support)

In her role as Head of Operations (Education Support), Aisha manages operational activity of all Education Support teams across the College of Arts and Law, working closely with senior management teams within each School, and academic and professional services colleagues.

Lorraine Gaytten

Interim Head of Facilities

The Head of Facilities plays a key role for the College on the physical environment, coordinating with Estates on maintenance and development. The Facilities team lead on implementing University health and safety policies within the College.

In her role as college head of research operations, Amy oversees operational delivery of research support, working closely with the Director of Research and Knowledge Transfer, to ensure operational activities are aligned with college research ambition.

Adrian Powney

Head of Operations: Student Experience

Adrian has strategic and operational oversight for all of the student support functions within the College of Arts and Law.  Student Support encompasses three main areas. The Student Wellbeing Team are the reasonable adjustments contacts and who provide pastoral and academic wellbeing support to all cohorts as well as being the gatekeepers to many codes of practice. The Student Experience Team support induction, transition and out-duction through a range of events and opportunities and who work to support the creation of community and identity both within and between cohorts. The College Academic Writing Service work with students in 1:1s and groups across all disciplines and from foundation level to PGR supporting them to enhance their academic writing.  This service also manages and curates the College Bank of Assessed Work.
