PGR Innovation Challenge 2024

The Innovation Challenge is a tailored non-credit multidisciplinary opportunity specifically designed for PGR students. It aims to provide research students with greater knowledge and understanding of the benefits of developing entrepreneurial skills. Skills which they can adopt and apply in their future careers irrespective of the route they follow.

The programme will centre on the completion of an innovation challenge, requiring PGRs to develop an innovative solution to a problem set. This year’s challenge will require multiple-disciple teams to choose one of the seventeen, United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) developing an impactful environmental solution. In doing so, they will enhance their critical and creative thinking, along with professional communication skills.

At the end of the programme teams of 3 or 4 will be create and deliver an in-person 15-minute presentation, along with a 1000-word individual reflective skill portfolio.
