EPSRC Physical Sciences Team Presentation - (11:00 -12:00)

Location: Lecture Theatre 101, Watson Building

The EPSRC Team will be sharing information about their strategy, priority areas, planned activities, budget etc. in the physical sciences theme. It will be followed by a Q&A focussed on strategy and visions with EPSRC and University staff.

A session for Early Career Researchers - (14:00 - 15:00)

Location: Lecture Theatre 101, Watson Building

Presentation on funding schemes for ECRs (Early Career Fellowships, First Grants, Standard Grants and Overseas Travel Grants) eligibility criteria/assessments criteria for these schemes and some tips for writing proposals/response to reviewers. This will be followed by opportunity for questions.

 1:1 Appointments with EPRSC Team - (14:00 - 15:00)

Location: Lecture Theatre 101, Watson Building

Opportunity for researchers to meet with EPSRC team members to discuss particular activities such as larger grants (platform/programme, early career opportunities etc.) and any individual issues that are not covered in the sessions throughout the day.
