Question:
What if the airline goes bankrupt?
Answer:

The travel cover excludes the financial failure of any transport or accommodation supplier so our providers would not be able to assist in this eventuality.  Their advice is that most airlines try to re book the traveller with another airline if there is a financial failure situation.  What cover exists for disrupted trips? If a journey is disrupted due to reasons beyond the travellers control then cover will generally operate to reimburse additional travel and accommodation expenses.  Please note however that cover does not apply where the disruption is caused by financial failure of the airline or other provider of transport or accommodation (see above).  Travellers are advised to ensure that the airline with whom they are booking flights are ATOL protected.  A useful website address for further information is www.caa.co.uk/atol-protection/ and can be visited for more advice.
