Our own high performance computing facilities, based around BlueBEAR, have been renewed and extended. A conference to mark the launch of this enhanced service was held on 24th June with speakers from our own research community and our external partners, including IBM and Rolls Royce. PVC John Heath opened the event which was an informative and stimulating look at new areas of research, made possible by high performance computing.
