This year the University of Birmingham Postgraduate Research Committee oversaw the eighth annual conference to present topics of interest to Postgraduate Researchers who made use of the Birmingham Environment for Academic Research (BEAR) services.
The conference provided an opportunity for postgraduate researchers and early career academics to present posters and abstracts discussions. The sessions comprised of speakers from academic and industrial backgrounds. This year conference was focus on, but not limited to, computational analysis and numerical modelling.
The discussions included the BEAR user forum that provided an opportunity to hear about the ongoing direction of BEAR services and offered feedback in a Q&A session.
Posters were assessed by a panel of judges, and prizes awarded to outstanding entries.
