Call for Abstracts: 8th BEAR PGR Conference
Postgraduate Researchers (PGRs) are invited to submit abstracts for posters or short talks (15 mins) to the 8th BEAR PGR Conference. This cross-disciplinary conference is a chance for PGRs and early career researchers to showcase their work to the wider University community.
The conference will be held on Friday 23rd of February.
Focusing on, but not limited to, computational analysis and numerical modelling the conference will cater to researchers of all schools interested in BEAR facilities. Such as the use of the high performance computing (HPC) system, BlueBEAR, cloud storage or data visualisation.
Participation Guidelines/Call for Abstracts
According to the attached pdf detailing guidance, please email email@example.com with your abstract and the below details:
- Topic title and field
- Year of study (may include early career researchers)
- Whether you wish to present a poster and or talk (please include preferred poster orientation)
- Three keywords to describe your work
Presenters will receive a free poster printing and prizes will be awarded for the best of each!
This year’s conference will also include the 14th BEAR User Forum; an opportunity to hear about the ongoing direction for BEAR and provide feedback in a Q&A session.
