Have your say and contribute to a research project on inclusive education to readdress the barriers students experience in Higher Education

An exciting opportunity to be involved in an upcoming research project on inclusive education is now open for University of Birmingham students.

The project STORIE (Supporting Transformation of our Organisations by Regenerating Inclusive Education) is focused on gathering students' stories of university experiences to help inform future inclusive education practice and address the barriers which currently exist in higher education. The project began as a result of a two-day workshop in Amsterdam, where the integral role of universities in fostering inclusive practice was acknowledged, and a shared concern was recognised in the importance of exploring what equality, diversity and inclusion really look like in higher education.

Involvement in this project requires students to complete a short survey about their decision to study at the University of Birmingham and their experiences whilst studying. The survey consists of five main questions and should take no more than 20 minutes to complete.
